So sorry to hear about Mary. She was a very special lady. So many memories or her, Joe and Phyllis.
never knew she was a Kappa Kappa Gamma. My daughter, Amy, was too.
Jean, Joe, Liz, Pete, Virginia, Lily, We are so sorry for your loss. I’ll always remember your mom as endlessly kind. So many memories with you all and with her, holidays, games, and way too much food. She is with the Lord and at peace, after a long struggle. Seek peace in God’s Holy Word of forgiveness and resurrection.
In case you are not able to grieve as you expected and comfort one another as we normally might, (due to Covid-19), know this, The Lord is always with us, in Jesus Christ. And while death is part of the fallen world, Jesus said, “Take heart; I have overcome the world.” Jn 16:33. Our hope for ourselves, for others, and for every Christian is Christ and Him alone.
Deepest sympathies,
Tim and Keri Llewellyn
Mary was loved here at Westminster. I always remember her faithfulness in worship (back when she was able) and her care for her sister, Phyllis, in never leaving her alone. May the Lord spill His abundant blessings on your whole family because of Mary’s love for the Lord. She’s with her precious Savior now.
Ms Giles …as I knew her…was my Sunday school teacher and a family Friend. She was always so kind and gentle . She will be missed !
