Lynn Trolley
Lynn Ann Trolley was born to Jane Kelly, nee Martin and Jack Kelly on September 21, 1943.
Lynn’s number one interest was her family. Her love for her family was fierce, and she demonstrated this with strength, fortitude and devotion.
Lynn was an active member of St. Cletus Church and School; the place where she met and married her beloved, late husband, Dan. She was president of the Women’s Council, secretary to Father Charles Gallagher and coach for many victorious St. Cletus softball and basketball teams.
Lynn worked at Charles A. Stevens, Lord and Taylor and Interiors by Maribeth. Her work at Interiors by Maribeth was more than a job; it was her second family.
Lynn loved decorating for the holidays, and she was the hostess extraordinaire. She took extreme pleasure in gift giving and cooking for her family.
Lynn’s favorite vacations were spent on the beach on Hilton Head Island from sun-up to sundown with her husband, Dan, seated next to her under an umbrella. Dan and Lynn were an example of true commitment. Dan took care of Lynn with unbounded patience for a decade after Lynn’s diagnosis of dementia.
Lynn is survived by her son, Dan (Julie) and daughter, Jane (Doug) Schroeder and her brother John (Mary) Kelly. Lynn was a beloved grandmother to Emma, Allison, Maggie, and Katherine and a proud aunt to Harry, Michelle, Meredith and Matthew. Lynn was dear friend to sister-in-law Rose Marie (Louis) Roseth and much loved cousin to many. A memorial celebration will be held at a later date.
What fond memories of a wonderful gal. The bonds we forged and the memories made at Interiors By Maribeth fill our hearts with joy as we remember all those years !!
We will miss you dear Lynn; you certainly put a smile on our faces as we think about you and our times together.

Mother, Sister, Friend & coworker………….
Lynn was all of these titles to me at one time or another in my life.
She was there to give me strength when I needed it, Made me relax when I didn’t know I needed it and more then anything we laughed and she showed me unconditional friendship.
She helped make me as well as my business a success. When I shared to my coworkers that Lynn had passed, the one word that I heard people say was “she sure was a spitfire” with that twinkle in her eyes when she knew she was pushing the limits.
Her love for her family was endless as she was so proud of each one of them. Her grandchildren made her day. She lived to spend time with them. Shopping for secret gifts for them that they couldn’t live with out & Dan couldn’t know about.
Lynn & Dan were truly a couple that loved each other thought thick & thin. What a inspiration they were.
We are all better people because of her and we will greatly miss her.
I have started and stopped and deleted; started and stopped my message so many times. It’s hard to convey what I want to say in written word. What I can say from the bottom of my heart is hat I truly loved Mr. and Mrs. Trolley – Dan and Lynn. I cannot look back on my childhood without thinking about the times I spent in their home on Spring Avenue. I can almost hear both of them laugh and wisecrack about “our antics” as I write this. Mrs. Trolley was one of the most hard-working women I have ever known. She was strong beyond belief and raised an amazingly strong daughter. It is definitely appropriate that two people who spent their entire lives together are now doing so in eternity, but this time without illness and without sadness. Thank you to Mrs. Trolley for always being so wonderful and so welcoming. She made a tremendous impact on my life and the lives of many. Lots of love and prayers for Jane, Doug, Emma, and Allison and Dan, Julie and the girls.
My deepest condolences to all of you. I can’t tell you how many times I thought of Lynn ever since we spent time together
at Lord & Taylor. Our many hours spent over the years each and every morning having coffee together with our friends in
alterations, talking about our families. Many memories.

I am so sorry for your loss. I will always remember Mrs. Trolley as a force of nature who brought great energy and humor to the world. She always worked hard and played hard and taught us to to do the same. I loved her smile and her honest approach to everything. She is with Mr. Trolley now which gives comfort and let’s us know that their beautiful love story will continue….
