Bill and I are so sorry at the loss of a very old friend and wonderful person! I loved our talks when she would walk around town ( which was everyday).
She was so knowledgeable and remembered everything. She would make be laugh mentioning thinks she remembered about myself when my family first moved up here from Tennessee I was only 2 and we lived across the street from Alida and Pam was my very first friend That was 71 years ago!
I have a long history with your family And your dear to me! There is something special about Hodgkins and people that grow up here! Your mom will be missed, again we are sorry! We love all of you and will be praying for you as days goes by!
Sorry for your loss.
Big Lida I miss you and Vernon and Larry. I think back to when I was young, going to your house in the morning everyday. I know I was a pain, but it was the best part of my childhood. Lida and I would talk unit someone woke up or would came home for lunch, then I was hoping they would go to McDonald’s. We would watch All My Children, all i remember is Jesse on the show. Then I would go to the Park Building with Little Lida, That’s what I called her and still would today. Little Lida doesn’t know how much I admirer her for looking out for me all those years. I respect you Little Lida so much. I never told you that, I am now., I should have then. Little Lida you meant so much to me back then and now. Thank you Little Lida. I also would go to RV’s with Larry to go swimming, I would help Bev a little bit to get the pool ready. You also mean a lot to me Bev, I also admire you. Larry and I would play with Amy, Larry told me once Amy made the word sound for whistle (FWEET) or Whiperwill. Larry loved Amy so much. Larry and I were close for years, I also love and miss him. Vernie I also respect you, you are the glue for your entire family now. I love all my cousins truly. Big Lida you helped shape me as a person in a big way. Thank you Big Lida and I love you. I will see you again soon. To be absent from this body is to be present with Lord. God Bless all of you
I miss you Lida, Vernon and Larry, and now Dad. God bless
My dear Victor
Thank you so much for the wonderful memories you shared with us. I tried so hard to look after you and Linda when you were young. I loved playing with you two when you were still living in Hodgkins. I hope you are well and enjoying your life in Kentucky
Love Little Lida
Latham/Milsap family, your extended Wisconsin family was sad to hear of Lida’s passing today. I got a Facebook message from Mary Margaret. Ethel, Pam, and Ruth, I have many fond memories of your Wisconsin visits when I was young. I do remember coming to visit your family in Illinois on different occasions and remembering a specific overnight stay there once. My cousins and I loved it when you would come visit our grandparents.
Ethel, I still have the Bible you gave to my mother (Elsie/Sissy) when you went to the Holy Land. I want to express our deepest sympathy to all of you. If you ever come to Wisconsin a few of us still live in Livingston or the surrounding area and it would be great to visit with you.
