So sorry for your loss. You are in my prayers. Will always remember the good times we had playing Volley Ball at Schroder Park.
I first met Lois in 1979 at Graves Junior High. She was a great teacher and a lot of fun to work with. Over the years, we had many memorable events that she had a key role in- putting a real pig head on the hood of my car, organizing a squirt gun attack on me at a district party as I was performing, many pranks on classroom teachers throughout the years, etc. Lady Lois was a friend, a colleague, and a great person to know. Her husband of many years, Fast Tony, was a lucky guy, which I’m sure Lady Lois often reminded him of. We last saw Lady Lois about a year ago at a restaurant in the western suburbs. Totally unplanned we were at the same place at the same time, and we sat at tables next to each other. Needless to say we sat together and had a nice time reminiscing. I am so glad that we had that opportunity. God Bless You, Lady Lois.
Lois was my boys’ 7th grade science teacher, & I had the pleasure of knowing her when I worked as a Teacher’s Aide at Graves Junior High School in Summit. We had many fun times together, both inside & outside of school. I just recently messaged her to reminisce about Tony’s magician performance at a party at my house several years ago, not knowing she was ill. I’m so sorry to learn of her passing. My heart goes out to Tony & their girls.
We are so sorry Tony and Diane and Terry for the loss of your Lois, our dear friend. We remember well our many hours on the tennis courts, our group trip to Winbledon, England and especially our many pinochle games. Living close in IHP gave us many opportunities to drop in and share a cocktail plus. Mr and Mrs Santa Claus were always a hit with our children and grandchildren as well as Tony’s magic show. Thank the Lord we were blessed with our friend for many years.
