Miriana Roncevich, 85, of Willowbrook. 
     After her parents were killed during World War II, Miriana lived with the Rossi family.  The family immigrated from Turin, Italy to the United States.  She became a naturalized citizen and worked as a Sears Associate, retiring from the Sears Roebuck Company.
     Miriana resided in Chicago until February 2020 and became a resident of the Chateau Center in Willowbrook, Illinois.
     She is preceded in death by her Aunt Emilia and Uncle Olivero Rossi, and cousins Lilliana and Claudio Rossi.
      She is survived by a sister Dusanka of Sweden and cousins Barbara, Jon, Jennifer, Jonathon, and Angelina Rossi.
     Miriana loved the culture and diversity of Chicago.  She was fun-loving and loyal to family and friends, who remember her fondly and will miss her dearly.
     Interment at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Burr Ridge, Illinois will be private.  Arrangements entrusted to Hallowell & James Funeral Home, Downers Grove at 630/964-6500.
