  1. Dorothy was a beautiful and creative person who lived a full and amazing life. The farm girl made her way to a career in “the City” (for us, San Francisco), met her beloved Morad and started a family, and then they lived and traveled around the world, enjoying different cultures, languages, art and much beauty. Perhaps the most wonderful and enduring legacy of this bright and adventurous woman is that she raised two brilliant, strong and curious daughters, who in turn raised their own brilliant, strong and curious daughters. A remarkable life and legacy.
