Donald C. Papp, age 77, of LaGrange. Beloved son of the late Charles T. and Lucille Papp. Loving brother of Richard (Joanne) Papp, Charles (Patricia) Papp, and the late Nancy (late James) Reiter. Devoted uncle of Kelly (Mike), Jeffrey (Kate), and Kyle (Ashley). Dear great-uncle of Will, Harrison, Emmy, Henry, and Vivian. Cherished cousin of Kristen Reiter. Fond friend of many. Donald will be fondly remembered for his gregarious laugh and love of life. He was a fan of all Chicago sports teams. Interment private. Don had the best smile and laugh. Great conversationalist, sincere. Loved running into him in downtown LaGrange and we would start up a conversation about anything, yes many times sports. He loved the simple things in life, family and friends. And his family and friends loved him.
I met Don at St Francis Xavier, and always enjoyed our conversations. He always looked forward to visits with the family. Such a great guy who will be sorely missed!

Don was a dear friend of our family. He was a close friend of my late father-in-law and stayed in touch with us after Richard passed in 2003. He often brought us loaves of our favorite bread from the bakery where he worked in La Grange. He was a kind and very genuine person and our family will miss him.
