Fist bump to a good man. Fly high, my friend! Thoughts and prayers to Donna, Lauren, Bryan, and Michael – you have an awesome guardian angel watching over you now!
I was Bill’s second grade teacher and fondly remember the older four Kato children in my classroom. I had moved before Stephen was ready for school. Susan Teske, Donna’s older sister was also a student of mine, so I knew both sides of both families. All had strong faith in the Resurrection won by Jesus Christ, our Savior! Blessings and Comfort to all with my Love!
I have so many fond memories of Bill from our car-pooling days. He and the kids had so much fun teasing each other over their Chicago vs Cleveland sports teams. He was a kind man who obviously had a strong love for his family and a strong faith in God. My heart goes out to his entire family; I know he will be greatly missed.
I can so clearly remember Mr. Kato at all the volleyball & b weasketball games during Junior High at BLS. He was always present for his family. He didn’t just do it to do it. He did with encouragement, support and love. Every tournament, every school function, he was there. He cheered all us girls on. I guess he stuck out in my mind because of his solid demeanor. He acknowledged all the children he came across, not just the ones who he knew through his own children. I hope the Kato can can feel God’s comfort during this heartbreaking time. Job well done Mr. Kato. I am standing up clapping for you today!! I am honored to of known such a wonderful man and person.
My dear sweet Friend Bill fly with the angels no more pain for you buddy the pain will be left here missing you. My prayers to the family may Our Heavenly Father wrap His Loving Arms around you all and help you go through your sorrow🙏
My deep condolences to Donna, Lauren, Michael, Bryan, his grandkids, and all his family and cherished loved ones and friends. Bill had incredible strength and was a good, good man! It was an honor to serve him and his family briefly at the end of his life. Wishing y’all peace and comfort.
