Ginnie was a longtime resident and business owner in the La Grange area.  Born July 29^th, 1930, in Chicago, she passed away on May 20^th, 2021 at her home in Indian Head Park.  She grew up in Elmhurst, graduated from York High School and then spent two years at Purdue University.  She later moved to the La Grange area where she married Phil.  She was the daughter of the late Wesley and Margaret Casper, and sister to the late Charles Casper, who lived nearby.  Married to Philip Burket for 62 years, she was the loving mother of four children, Lee Anne Dekorsi, Susan Grosskopf (Fred), Merrie Burket and David Burket.  She was also the loving grandmother to Wesley Dekorsi, Erik Grosskopf, Taylor and Joshua Burket.

Ginnie loved to read, cook and in her earlier years do other crafts.  She enjoyed spending lots of time at Lake Cora (in Michigan) where her parents bought their first place back in 1956, and she carried on this tradition with her family.  She loved her dogs and spoiled them rotten. She will be missed dearly by all of her family and friends.
