Stephen M. Abel,  age 93, of Burr Ridge, IL. Beloved  husband of the late Virginia Abel;  devoted  father of the late Sherron Arends;  loving  grandfather of Mark (Jennifer) Arends; dear brother of the late Katherine Bryant; fond uncle of Judy (Ron) Lunde, William Bryant and the late John Bryant. Stephen was a U.S. Army Air Corps Veteran who enjoyed flying which he continued to do just months before he passed away. Stephen was the former President  & CEO of Norman Equipment Co.
