Eloise (nee Ramos) Sugawara, 93, passed away on September 25, 2021 surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of the late Takashi Sugawara. Fond sister of Jenne Benca. Dear aunt of Linda (Dan) Caplice, Sandy (Tony) Nieves, Debbie Most, Andrea Benca (Ed Musselman), Leslie (Terry) Walter, Joe (Ivette) Ramos, & Pilar Ramos. Cherished great-aunt and friend of many.

Eloise was a generous woman, an avid traveler, and a connoisseur of good food. She delighted in gathering around the table and having a meal with family and friends. Eloise traveled all over the world and shared her enthusiasm for life with everyone she met.

A visitation will be held from 10am until time of Funeral Mass 11am on Friday, October 8th at St. John of the Cross Church, 5005 Wolf Rd., Western Springs. Family and friends to meet at Memorial Park Cemetery, 9900 Gross Point Road, Skokie, IL for burial. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery office at 1pm for the committal service.
