JOSEPH “JOE” JOHN KIRASICH
1931 – 2021
Joe Kirasich, born in Benld, IL, on October 9, 1931 to Peter and Anna Kirasich, passed away peacefully in his sleep on November 1, 2021. Joe is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Dorothy, son Mark and daughter-in-law Mary, daughter Kim and son-in-law Joe McDermott, and grandchildren Joseph, Kevin (Margaret), Brian (Lindsey), Kaitlin (Sean), and Kylee. He is also survived by many nephews.
Joe was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, a longtime employee at Disamatic and Chairman of the Board at Central Federal Savings and Loan.
Visitation is 3 to 8pm Sunday, November 7th at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Family and friends are invited to meet the family at St. John of the Cross Church, 5005 Wolf Rd., Western Springs for 11am Mass on Monday, November 8th. Interment to follow at Clarendon Hills Cemetery, Darien. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Boys Town at boystown.org.

So sorry to hear of Joe’s passing . He was such a fun guy ! I had the pleasure of knowing due to his shopping at Walgreens in Western Springs .He always had a smile and quick wit about him. I will miss Joe and Dorothy visiting with me. Had I known I would have paid my respects in person. Please accept my sincere sympathy.
