May V. Novotny, age 100, of LaGrange. Beloved wife of the late Joseph R. Novotny for a wonderful 30 years. Loving mother of Pam (Burt) Kidd, Joseph (Wendy) Novotny, and Chris (Julie) Novotny. Devoted grandmother of Joseph R. (Carley) Novotny, Brian M. Novotny, Jessica Kidd, and Shari (Chris) Kuhlman. Cherished great-grandmother of 7. May was preceded in death by her parents, Christ and Dena Moede; and siblings, Herman, Evelette, Willard, Burton, Adeline, Jonas, Waldine, Gertie, Justine, Bobby, Beatrice, and Theodore.

May served in the Red Cross during WWII and in Burma, India. She will be remembered for her love of gardening and flowers. May enjoyed cooking lavish meals for her family. She liked being involved in the PTA of the LaGrange Highlands District. May was also involved in the Democratic Party of LaGrange.

Interment private.
