Gail Abbott, of Indian Head Park; beloved wife of the late Harry Abbott; loving mother of Gabriella (Daryl) Ravani, Frank Abbott, & Greg (Diane) Abbott; proud grandmother of Brett, Sean, & Gabriella Abbott; preceded in death by loving parents James & Josephine Lockington.

Gail was a proud member of numerous charitable clubs active in the community, including a long-time member of the Indian Head Park Women’s Club, the LaGrange Newcomers Club, and the Red Hat Society. While a parishioner at St. Bede the Venerable in Chicago, she taught CCD classes to children and volunteered many hours at the rectory. She also was a supporter of several Catholic charities and organizations.

Visitation 4 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, March 31 at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55^th St., Countryside.
