Elwina Laniosz, 94, of Darien. Beloved wife of the late Eugene. Loving mother of Paul (Patricia), George (Marilyn) Laniosz, Jeanne Scholl, Anita (David) Young, Peter (Kimberly), Timothy (Kimberly), Daniel Laniosz, Ruth (John) Dedic and the late Ludwig Laniosz. Devoted grandmother of Christian, Sherry, Melissa, Jenny, Steven, Kyle, Thomas, David, Victor, Natalie, Jeanne, Annie, Alex, Austin, Aaron, Jason, Michael, Emily, Amanda, Jessica, Oliver, Rachel, Jonathan. Elwina is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Visitation 10am until Funeral Service 12 Noon Monday, April 25, 2022 at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 301-75th Street, Downers Grove. Interment Fairmount Willow Hills Memorial Park. My mom was always a patient, joyful, loving person, who was committed to her family, gardening, and sewing for her grandchildren. Our family was blessed with the opportunity to care for her in her declining years, she brought joy to our household. Mom, I love you and will always miss you.
Anita, my heart goes out to you and your entire family. Your mom sounds as if she had a very full life,indeed.She was blessed with so many grandchildren,and “greats”.
