Audrey (nee Voss) Johnson; 93; of LaGrange Park, IL; previously of Western Springs, IL for 54 years; born January 5, 1929; passed away at her home on July 10, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband of 49 years, Edward J. Johnson; sister Dorothy (Voss) Loess; and brothers-in-law Ray Loess and Ed Schramm. Her legacy lives on through her children: Steve, Kathy (Byron) Crumley, and Linda, eight (8) grandchildren, and five (5) great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Edna Schramm, nieces/nephews, and many grand-nieces and nephews.

Audrey worked side-by-side with her husband at their hardware store, Village True Value Hardware, until his passing in 2002. She remained active in the store until 2019. She was active in the community through various volunteer activities and organizations. She was a true matriarch who was and always will be immensely treasured.

Visitation 3 to 8pm Wednesday, July 13th at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W 55th St., Countryside, IL 60525. Funeral Service 10am Thursday, July 14th at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, graveside service to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Forest Park. Luncheon to follow.
