Richard A.  Smetana  age 77, of LaGrange. Retired supervisor for IDOT with 29 ½ years of service and former Trustee with the Town of Cicero. Beloved husband of Karen (nee McMonigal); devoted father of Ronald A.; loved step-father of Lisa (Aaron) Bright and Gina (Paul) Cozzi;  “loving Papa” of Gino, Jace and Dane; dear brother of James, Robert (Linda) and Ronald (Ruthann) Smetana; also survived by many nieces, nephews & cousins.  Services and interment will be private.   Memorials in memory of Richard may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
