Filippa Lupetini, 93, of Clarendon Hills; Beloved wife of the late Lino; Loving mother of Maria Lupetini (David Ross) and Michael (Elizabeth); Cherished grandmother of Philip Ross, William (Jonathan) Ross-Ashikyan, Caroline, and Robert Lupetini; Fond sister-in-law of Maria Blasina.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 1st from 3 to 8pm at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th Street, Countryside. Funeral prayers 10:30am on Wednesday, November 2nd from the funeral home to St. John of the Cross Church, Western Springs for an 11am Funeral Mass. Entombment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery to follow.

I will miss this wonderful woman. Her kindness and laughter brightened our Christmas open houses whenever she visited Maria and her family in California. My condolences to her entire family.
We will sorely miss Nonna Phyllis, ever the Italian grandma. Never did we visit that she didn’t insist upon giving us something to eat. We learned so much from her quiet example of strength, courage, and determination, and most especially her deep faith. Rest in peace Nonna.
Maria, William and family, we are so sorry for your loss! Although we didn’t have the opportunity to meet your Mother and Grandmother we knew how much she was loved. Please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers.
