James J. Krstansky, age 101, of Lisle, Illinois. Beloved husband of the late Mary (nee Pizzarello). Loving father of Victoria (fiancé Thomas Sima), and Adrianne (Ted) Hewlett. Cherished grandfather of Ethan. Brother of the late Jerry Krstansky. Son of the late John and Antonia Krstansky.

He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force where he was a radio communications instructor at Truax Air Force base.

After the war, he earned a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois.

James spent his career at Illinois Institute of Technology Research Institute for 35 years working at various projects.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Veterans Organizations or Nature Conservation are greatly appreciated.

Visitation 2 to 6pm on Sunday, January 15^th at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55^th St., Countryside. Family and friends to meet at St. Alexander Church, 300 South Cornell Ave., Villa Park on Monday, January 16^th for an 11am Funeral Mass.
