Celine Miller, age 86, of LaGrange Park, passed away on February 11, 2023. Celine was the beloved wife of the late Robert E. Miller, loving mother of David, Steven (Margie), and Pam (Tom) Holland. Cherished grandmother of Jason and Grace. In addition, Celine is survived by many nieces and nephews and also by the members of the Stevo family.

Celine Miller was born in Chicago on June 14, 1936 (Flag Day) to George and Celia Broske. She attended grammar school in Chicago and graduated from Lourdes High School before heading to St. Elizabeth’s nursing school in Chicago. It was during this time that she was introduced to the love of her life, Robert Miller. After raising her family and devoting 40 compassionate years to the art of nursing, they moved to Chandler, Arizona for a well-deserved and joyous retirement, spending time with the William Miller and Bernard Thomas families.

Celine will be greatly missed by those that loved her, but her family will be forever blessed with her example of strength, determination, and generosity.

Visitation on Saturday, February 25th from 9am until time of service, 12pm at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Inurnment will take place privately. In lieu of flowers, we would greatly appreciate memorial donations in Celine’s name to the charity of your choice. Two of Celine’s favorites were St. Jude and the American Lung Association.
