Beloved mother of the late Bobbie Mylinda (John) Borgman, Bryan (Mary) Murphy, Beverly (R.V.) Millsap and Lisa Murphy. Devoted grandmother of Nancy Lynn (Danny) Gannon and Mylisa Jean Murphy; Bryan (Megan) Murphy, Jr., Brandon (Kristy) Murphy and Michelle (Clay) French; Amy (Jeff) Smith, Kelly (Joe) Young and Tracy (Keith) Cottrell; & Lillie Murphy Adkins. Cherished great-grandmother of 28. Dear great-great-grandmother of 7. Fond aunt of many.
Nancy cherished all her friends in Iowa, Hodgkins, IL, and those from Fisher Body General Motors. Nancy enjoyed spending time on the Mississippi River. She also enjoyed reading and having many phone calls with her dear friends.
Visitation 4 to 8pm Monday, March 6th at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside, where a Funeral Service will be held at 10am on Tuesday, March 7th. Interment at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Hodgkins.

Our heartfelt condolences to the family. Fond memories of family n friend get togethers and Nancy cooking fish fry and hush puppies. All the good times growing up with friends n family from EMD, Fisher Body n Reynolds. We like to think they are all gathered around the lake fishing n laughing with a few cocktails. RIP Nancy.
