Irene A. Haberkorn (nee Herlihy), age 92, of Western Springs. Devoted wife of the late Joseph Sr.; Loving Mom of the late John, Daniel (Nancy), Karen (Tim), Joseph Jr. (Nancy), and Sharon (Matt); Loving Gram of Jennifer (Drew), Daniel, Lauren, Diane, Tim (Maria), Matt (Moira), Meg (Jordan), Elise (Ryan), Sarah (Sean), the late Joshua (Liz), Emily (Eddie), Grace, Joseph III (Katy), Andrew, Ryan, Kevin, and Reenie; Great-grandmother of Eva, Gracie, Tim, Lily, Olivia, Cormac, Jaxson, Charlotte, Emma, Patrick, Molly, June, Frank, and three more on the way. She was a loving aunt and cousin of many.

Irene was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She devoted her life to her family and was the ultimate babysitter of all her grandchildren.

From her earliest days growing up at the 99^th Street train station, to St. Margaret of Scotland, St. Bernadette and eventually St. John of the Cross, our mom centered our family in our Catholic faith. By example, our mom taught us how to raise our families in a loving and gentle way.

We will miss her every day.
