Patty please accept my condolences to you and your family. I am truly sorry to hear of Linda’s death.
Linda volunteered at Bohemian National Cemetery along with you. You both volunteered at T.G Masaryk
Czech School in Cicero, taking care of the Yard ,planting flowers and weeding making the school grounds
look great. Linda and you helped maintain the School building keeping it clean and safe for the school children. I and many others will greatly miss her.

I agree with Andy’s comments regarding Linda. I’m a relative newcomer to the Chicago Czech community (2011). In my time Linda was very visible member, particularly in the beautification efforts at TGM and BNC. She will be missed. RIP
Patty, please accept my deepest sympathies on Linda’s passing. As you know, she was a stalwart member of our church. She was always the one of the first to volunteer for any church-sponsored activity – being happy to do whatever was needed. She sent greeting cards to members on their birthday and brought flowers to members who were unable to worship in person.. She made the smallest chores fun. We shared many laughs while washing dishes and cleaning out filing cabinets.
She was also instrumental in keeping St.James going through Covid. Our church owes much to her kindness, her unfailing work ethic, and her joy in helping others.

Patty, Please accept my sincere condolence on the loss of your last sister. I was stunned to see her having passed at such a young age. May God rest her in the palm of his hand.
Dear Patty,
This is such a hard way to meet someone when they are saying goodbye to their only sister. I knew Linda through the Chicagoland Daylily Society. Linda was always a great help to us for our various events and served on our Board for short time. She was most active getting our “white elephant” fund raisers going. I really think she loved antique garden things and outbid me several times on some lovely garden fairies one of our members donated. She’ll be remembered by us for her love of daylilies and her organizational and skills in helping others. Please accept our sincere sympathy.
June Vandervest
Co-President, Chicagoland Daylily Society
I am so sorry to learn of Linda’s passing. I actually knew Linda back in high school. It has been several years since I have seen Linda, but she was always a pleasure to talk to. Sincerely, Carol Walsh Rosentreter
I knew Linda in the 80s when we both worked at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute at Immunogen. I was trying to look her up to reconnect and found her obituary. My sincerest condolences to her family.
