Joseph “Joe” Williams, age 59, of Countryside; beloved husband of Judy; loving father of Joseph Williams, Jr., & Jonathon Williams; cherished son of the late Ray & the late Mickey Williams; dear brother of Willie (Barb) Williams, Sheila (Tim) Bowers, Linda (Mike) Harmon, & the late Russ Williams; uncle, cousin, & friend of many.
Joe married his high school sweetheart, Judy, both from LT High School. He was a proud father of his two twin boys that meant the world to him. Joe worked at Parker Hannifan for 30 years and most recently was an engineer for a waste water treatment facility at West Liberty Foods. He was handy around the house and liked to include his son Jonathon with these projects. Jonathon and Joe especially bonded over current events and technology. Joe loved going to concerts, laying back watching a good movie, and more notably gathering with friends and family for Sunday football. His traditional annual Thanksgiving turkey fry brought special memories with his family and close friends gathered around. His love for his sons was evident in everything he did. Joe spent special moments with his son Joseph in enjoying Joseph’s gift of playing the piano. Quality time was spent in the yard with Joe introducing Joseph to all the outdoor power tool sounds. All of these moments were captured through pictures that Joe himself insisted on capturing “in the moment”. Joe lived life trying to win the lottery. But he won the lottery in the family he built. We are thankful for the lives he touched and the blessings he has given to each of us. We lost a good one much too soon!
