Eleanor M. Vial
Eleanor M. Vial (nee Corniels), age 88; formerly of Elgin Illinois; beloved wife of the late Keith E. Vial for 62 wonderful years; loving mother of Kevin Vial and Vicki Vial Rogers; dear grandmother of Tripp, Stephen, and Lindsey Rogers; fond sister of the late Beverly Bitterman; aunt, cousin, and friend of many, passed away peacefully. Ellie will be lovingly remembered as an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, musician, vocalist, artist, and a generous donor to numerous charitable causes. She was a kind and dedicated member of her community and church, volunteering much of her time to serve others.
Visitation is Saturday, August 26th from 10am until time of service, 11am at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside, IL 60525. Interment to follow at Lyonsville Cemetery. Memorial donations may be given to oakky.org, or uplouisville.org. Funeral Info: 708-352-6500
Vicki, I never had the pleasure of meeting your mother, but I now know how and where you acquired your beauty, talent, generosity, kindness and an all around love of people and life. My very deepest condolences to you and all who knew and loved your mother.
My beloved Miss Ellie, I will miss our weekly time together so very much. Thank you for blessing me with love, laughter and the joys of your friendship. You have left an imprint on my heart that will be there forever.
