Brendan Michael Kivlehan, 26, of Palos Heights. Beloved son of Mary (Robert) and the late John. Loving brother of Sean (fiancé Kara) Kivlehan, Ciara Kivlehan, Brian (Emma) Peel and Michelle Peel. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Visitation 3 to 9pm Monday, August 28, 2023 at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 301-75th Street, Downers Grove. Everyone is asked to meet at St. Cletus Church, 600 West 55th Street, LaGrange for Funeral Mass at 10am on Tuesday, August 29, 2023. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Alsip, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Leukemia Research Foundation appreciated. Brendan owned Kivlehan Farmer’s Insurance Agency. Funeral home phone 630/964-6500.

My heart & Prayers are with all during this most hardest of times especially his Mom, Stepdad, Siblings & extended family.
Brendan & my nephew Nick were the best of friends. A friendship that began at a very young age and grew stronger with each passing day. Nick & Brendan were not just friends but to each other they were brothers a bond that can never be broken.
They were Blessed to know what true friendship was all about.
I can only imagine the many best friends Brendan has out there as I am sure his heart could never just choose one as he probably knew God wanted him to share his beautiful gift of love, kindness, joy & laughter with many.
