John R. Zotti, age 69, of LaGrange; beloved husband of Chris (née Dougherty) Zotti; loving father of Jack (Suzy), Maggie, & Patrick (Jessica); proud grandfather of Liam, Axel, Lyra, & Luca; dear brother of Ed (Mary), Bob (Barb), Eileen (David) Wargo, Peggy (Mike Leonetti) Gavin, & Bill (Allison); uncle & friend of many.

John was a longtime basketball coach; first for his children, and then well after they graduated. He was also a proud Assistant Scout Master for the Boy Scouts. Through this work, he was valued as a mentor to many. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation 3 to 9 p.m. on Monday, September 18 at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55^th St., Countryside. Family and friends will meet for 9:15 a.m. prayers at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 19. A procession to St. Francis Xavier Church, LaGrange will follow.
