James A. Wees, 86, passed away on November 16^th. Beloved husband of Patricia (Delsing); fond brother of the late Donald (Judith) of Rochester, MN; Marlena (the late James) Morgan of Walnut Creek, CA; Kenneth (Patricia) of Westminster, MD; and Margaret (Richard) Williams of Omaha, NE; loved by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A graduate of Creighton Prep High School, he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, University of Nebraska, Lincoln, and a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering, University of Illinois, Champaign. He then began a 40-year career at Chicago Bridge and Iron Company.

Visitation 3 to 8pm on Monday, November 20^th at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55^th St., Countryside, Illinois. 10:15am chapel prayers from the funeral home to St. John of the Cross Church, 5005 Wolf Rd., Western Springs, Illinois for an 11am Funeral Mass on Tuesday, November 21st.. Interment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, Illinois.
