Barbara J. Crowell Mossner
Barbara J. Crowell Mossner, aged 84 passed away in La Grange Illinois on February 25th, 2024. She was preceeded in death by her husband, Alfred Edward Mossner Jr., and her two brothers Richard Soderlund and Dennis Edward Crowell. She is survived by her nieces and nephew.
Barbara was born February 23rd 1940 in La Grange Illinois. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Denison University, Granville, OH and was a Special Education teacher at Jefferson School in Berwyn, Illinois for a time. She is most known for her generous and kind spirit, and for her love of all wildlife, especially the feline kind.
Services for Barbara will be Thursday, March 7th 2024 at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside Illinois. Visitation is at 10 a.m. and Services begin at 11 a.m. Interment following at Parkholm Cemetery.
Barbara was a kind and gentle person to many. She will be missed.
