Charles A. Zemaitis, age 85, of Downers Grove.  Beloved husband of Juliann for 61 years.  Loving father of Susan (William) Martin, Lt. Col. Gwen Baker (ret.) and her husband Col. Steve Baker (ret.), Cheryl Ferguson and Terri (Kerry) Boumans.  Devoted grandfather of 17 and great-grandfather of 3.  Dear brother of Ted (Donna) Decker, Daniel (Janice) Zemaitis, Michael (Jean) Zemaitis and Patricia Zemaitis.  Chuck will be remembered as an avid golfer and fisherman, devoted Cubs fan, and for “doing it my way.”  Visitation 3-8 p.m. Thursday March 7^th at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 301 75^th St., Downers Grove.  Prayers 10:15 a.m. Friday March 8^th from the funeral home to Divine Savior Church for Mass at 11 a.m.  Interment private.  Funeral home phone 630-964-6500
