John Francis Cozza, age 88 of Lombard, formerly of Western Springs. Born August 14, 1926, passed away on March 21, 2015. U.S. Army WWII Veteran of the 1st Armored Division. Beloved husband of 63 years to Sally A. (nee Bulfer). Devoted father of Dr. Thomas (Mary), Paul (Elizabeth), Jay (Laura), Dan (Laura ), Phil (Lynn) Cozza, Barbara (John) Gordon and the late James Cozza; cherished grandfather of 18; proud great-grandfather of 5; dear brother of Charles (Kim) Cozza, the late Anna (late Robert) Gillis, the late Rosalyn (the late Lloyd) Leaverton and the late Lorraine (Thomas) Holzbach; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents. He enjoyed many years of coaching sports, as a Boy Scout leader and endless do-it-yourself projects. Retired as President of Deslauriers, Inc. John and Sally enjoyed traveling to all 50 States and many countries. Family would like to thank the Staff of Beacon Hill Health Center in Lombard for the months of care and comfort.
