  3. Peggy was one of my grandma’s best friends and she became an extra grandma to me and my sister in all the best ways after my grandma died. She always had something funny to say around my family and never failed to make us laugh and put a smile on our faces. I remember my grandma taking us over to Peggy’s house where she let us paint on the garage walls before a remodel or something. I always enjoyed going out to eat with her when I was back in town and I’m sorry to miss the viewing. She will be forever remembered as a beautiful and caring woman

Peggy was an incredible person. She touched many hearts and lives! She brought so much joy, love, and happiness to all the children she taught! I will always cherish the wonderful memories made working with her at Walsh School! Sending your family comfort, strength and peace!

  5. Dear Danny and Ellen,
Your mom was an amazing woman and touched so many lives, including me and my family. Babysitting for you two (since Danny was six months old and until you were in my wedding at ages 11 and Ellen 9), was such a treat and your parents couldn’t have loved you any more than they did! It was certainly a full circle moment attending Dan’s wedding and seeing both of you as successful adults in your own right. Your dad would just shake his head as your mom and I would stand there and talk while they were to getting out the door…yet that was your mom: always caring and giving of herself to the company she was with. You were all definitely blessed with such a loving, giving mother and supportive, encouraging father. Thank you for sharing them me!
    Love,
    Pamela Gorman Sprigler

  7. Our family knew Mrs. Koucky through SJC and countless other sports leagues throughout childhood. I also remember her subbing at SJC from time to time, and she always remembered everyone’s name and was always so friendly to all. Our condolences to Dan, Ellen, and the rest of the Koucky family.

  9. Dan and Ellen,
It is with great sadness to hear your mother had passed. It was my privilege to help your Mom and Dad as their dentist . Your Mom always had a great laugh and story to tell and we enjoyed your Dad’s sarcastic humor as well as his taunts against Ohio State. I believe I was up $10 on a bet. Your Mom kept in touch through some FB posts periodically. A life well lived touching many 💕 hearts.

  10. Dear Danny and Ellen and family,
Your mother was a wonderful person.
We first met her a long time ago when she and your dad lived on Harvey Avenue.
She always had a smile and kind word to everyone she’d meet.
Please know you are all in our hearts and prayers. She must be happy to be reunited
    with your dad now!
    In sympathy & friendship,
    Mary and Bill Thonn
