Donald K. Creelman, age 90, US Army Paratrooper Artic Airborne 11^th Division, of Elmhurst, former longtime resident of Western Springs, passed away on February 12, 2025. Donald was born on July 9, 1934. Beloved husband of Nancy (nee Seip) for a wonderful 64 years. Loving father of Matt (Michelle) Creelman, Elizabeth (Michael) O’Malley, and Doug (Dana) Creelman. Devoted grandfather to James, Andrew and Stephanie Creelman; Ryan (Emily) O’Malley and Hannah O’Malley; Caleb and Faith Creelman. Donald was preceded in death by his parents Clifford and Margaret (nee May) Creelman and sister, Dorothy (late Robert) Goodwin. Donald will be missed by his many nieces, nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.

Donald had a longtime career in advertising. He will be remembered for his love of his family, friends and going to Tucson, Arizona. Donald’s love of storytelling, his laughter and smile will be missed by everyone.

A memorial service will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to All Saints Episcopal Church of Western Springs, Alzheimer’s Association or the Les Turner ALS Foundation.
