Glenda (Taylor) Lipsey, beloved daughter of Harold and Evelyn Taylor, sister of the late Lynn Hill, cherished wife of the late Howard Lipsey, married 57 years, mother of Jane Giacchetti(Leon) and Christopher Lipsey(Sandra), grandmother of Margaret, Taylor, Christopher and Louis, loving  aunt to Kristin and David,  and a friend to many. She passed away peacefully on March 23, 2025, at the age of 87, surrounded by her loving family. 

Born in Chicago on February 5, 1938, Glenda was a strong, kind and generous person to all. After being raised in Naperville, IL, she graduated from Knox College, the first in her family. She was a longtime resident of LaGrange and worked as a teacher in District 102 and at Bank of Lyons and Bank One in La Grange. She loved to be with her family, travel, and celebrate all holidays. Glenda was very proud of her Swedish ancestry and Chicago roots. She will be missed by many.
