Kruppe, Jr., age 92, of Downers Grove.  US Army Purple Heart and Bronze Star Veteran, WWII.  Beloved husband of the late Maryan.  Loving father of Mary Louise (John) Blaney, Diane (Ralph) Sutherland, Frank, III (Amy), Michael (Jeanne) and Jacqueline (Randy) Smith.  Devoted grandfather of 13.  Dear brother of the late Robert.  Frank served as president of Cyrus Shank Company for many years.  Visitation 3-9pm Thursday May 21st at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 301 75^th St., Downers Grove.  Prayers 9am Friday May 22nd from the funeral home to Divine Savior Church for Mass at 9:30am.  Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Hadley School for the Blind appreciated.  Funeral info 630-964-6500
