Lloyd Szkwarko
Lloyd Szkwarko, age 66, of Darien, was born on December 20, 1948 in Chicago. He was retired from ABN AMRO/LaSalle Bank after 41 years of service. Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Bernice Szkwarko. He is survived by his loving wife Patricia (nee O’Connor) and most loving daughter Andrea (late Rhett Morgan). He has been reunited with his son Michael on the other side of life. Lloyd was the favorite son-in-law of Rosemarie (late Andrew) O’Connor. Brother to Walter (Michele) Szkwarko. Fond brother-in-law to Donald (Paula) O’Connor, John (Sharon) O’Connor, Andrew (Alison) O’Connor and CPD Sargent Brian (Sharon) O’Connor. Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. And, a dear friend to more people than we could ever fit on this page. He will be dearly missed, never forgotten, and loved until the end of time. Visitation 2-8pm Monday May 25th at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 301 75th St., Downers Grove. Prayers 9:15am Tuesday May 26th from the funeral home to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church for Mass at 10am. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to your favorite charity appreciated. Funeral info 630-964-6500

Its hard to believe this is real. My prayers go out patsy and andrea. Lloyd was like an uncle to me. I’m so sorry I wasn’t able to attend the service this all happened so sudden. Again to andrea and patsy please keep your head up its what Lloyd would’ve wanted.
Pat, I am so very sorry. Lloyd was always fun to be around–he will be sorely missed.
