Grandmother of Susan (Eric) Smedley, Daniel (Mary) Miller, Nancy (Andrew) Emmerich, William (Heather) Miller, John (Malessa) McCloy, Kristopher McCloy and Matthew McCloy. Great-grandmother of 12. Visitation 3 to 8pm Sunday November 1st at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 301-75th Street, Downers Grove. On behalf of all of us at Saratoga Grove, our sympathies and prayers go out to you, Bettie’s family. It was a pleasure to know Bettie – and especially enjoy her stories of Navy life! She was a nice member of our community. Personally speaking, I was on vacation this past week – so just found out this morning that Bettie had passed away. My heart saddened. I will miss her.
