Albert P. Dybicz, age 85; formerly of Bridgeport; beloved husband of LaVerne (nee Carney) for 63 wonderful years; loving father of Mary Grace (Carl F.) Bator, Martin (Marygin) Dybicz, Joanne (Tom) Forkin, Vivian Swibel, Barbara (Ernie) Watts; cherished grandfather of fourteen; dear great-grandfather of seven; dear brother of Aloysius (Dolores) Dybicz, Virginia (Chuck) Wolniak, and the late Edward Dybicz; fond brother-in-law of Barbara Stroden and Patricia Donovan; uncle and friend of many. Albert was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Visitation 3 to 9pm Monday, December 28 at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Funeral prayers 9:30am Tuesday, December 29 from the funeral home to St. Cletus Church, LaGrange. Mass 10am. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Mary Grace and family, My sincere sympathies on the passing of your Dad. I remember him in the same light as my dad, a compassionate man, easily liked, who came from a generation of hard workers, family values and a presence that earned him respect. I’m sorry I couldn’t join you to celebrate his life but know that Cindy and my prayers are with you during this challenging time. He has a lot to be proud of and his reward begins now with a Father who welcomes him to an eternal home.
