John Butkovich  age 96, of McCook. Served as a Village Trustee & Clerk for the Village of McCook. U.S. Army Veteran Staff Sergeant during WWII. Beloved husband of Mildred A. (nee Saban); devoted father of Kim Martin, Teri Williams and John Butkovich; cherished grandfather of Taylor Martin, Katie and Paige Williams. Memorial Visitation Monday from 4 to 8pm at Hallowell & James Funeral Home 1025 W. 55t St., Countryside. Family and friends will gather on Tuesday, March 29, for a 10:30am Memorial Mass at St. Hugh Church, 7939 W. 43^rd St., Lyons. Interment private.
