Lester P. Johnson
Lester P. Johnson, age 88, of Bethlehem Woods, LaGrange Park, IL. passed away peacefully on October 15, 2016. Lester, the beloved husband of the late Vera Johnson (nee Boyko), was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII, a dear brother-in-law, loving uncle and great-uncle to many, Godfather and friend to many. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Honor Flight- Chicago would be appreciated. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 20, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until time of a 12:00 p.m. Prayer Service at the Congregation of St. Joseph Chapel, 1515 West Ogden Ave., LaGrange Park, IL 60526. Interment will follow with full Military Honors at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Cemetery, 8851 West Higgins Road, Chicago, IL 60631 Hallowell & James Funeral Home in Countryside is assisting the family with all arrangements.
