Ruth Elizabeth Smith (nee Kramer) age 87, longtime resident of LaGrange. Ruth was born on May 14, 1929 in Union City, NJ to her loving parents the late Robert E. and the late Lucille (nee Williams) Kramer. Beloved wife of the late Noel I. Smith; loving mother of Cheryl E. Smith (Lewis M. Fortner) and Karen M. Smith (Mark K. Edelson). Interment Private. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 21, 10:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of LaGrange, 150 S. Ashland Ave., LaGrange, IL 60525. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Plymouth Place Employees Scholarship Fund, 315 N. LaGrange Rd., LaGrange Park, IL 60526 or to the charity of your choice in Ruth’s memory would be appreciated.
