Samuel Silas “Si” Skidmore age 70, formerly of Hinsdale and Western Springs. A U.S. Army Veteran. Beloved husband of the late Judith R; devoted father of Samantha (Bobby) McLin, Joshua (Jenna) and Zachary (Tessa) Skidmore; dearest grandfather of Kadin, Shonah, Echo, Reagan, Silas and Darwin; loving son of the late James and the late Catherine (nee Dolby) Skidmore. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 1, from 1pm until time of a 3pm Memorial Service at Hallowell & James Funeral Home 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. My deepest sympathy to the Skidmore family. Si was a fine man and a great friend, both personally and business wise. Given his health, he’s no long suffering.
