Ronald Mattiuz, age 79, of Downers Grove, passed away September 5, 2017.  US Army Reserves Veteran.  Beloved husband of Bonnie.   Loving father of John (Abigail) Mattiuz, David (Diane) Mattiuz and Julie (Craig) Smith.  Devoted grandfather of John, Paige, Hannah and Leah.  Dear brother of the late Edward and the late James.  Visitation 3-9pm Thursday September 7^th at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 301 75^th St., Downers Grove.  Will lie in state 10am Friday September 8^th until time of funeral service 10:30am at Faith United Methodist Church, 432 59^th St., Downers Grove.  Interment at Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery will be private.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to Faith United Methodist Church or PAWS would be appreciated.  Funeral home phone 630-964-6500
