Rudolph W. Wendes  age 89, of Bethlehem Woods LaGrange Park. U.S. Army Veteran. Beloved husband of the late Rosemary (nee Paylo); devoted father of Karen (Alan) Larsen, William (Gina) Wendes and the late Diane (Douglas) Gray; cherished grandfather of Erik (Diane) Larsen, Andrea (Gregory) Tomasso, Nicholas (Lauren), Alexis and Jackson Wendes, Wendes, Spencer and Toby Gray; proud great-grandfather of Vincent Wendes, Madeline and Erin Larsen and Charlie and Christian Tomasso; dear brother of Paul (Carol) Neuhauser and the late Herbert (Hanna) Wendes; uncle and dear friend of many. Family & friends will gather on Tuesday, November 28, at St. Francis Xavier Church, 124 N. Spring Ave., (corner of Spring & Ogden Aves.) in LaGrange for a visitation beginning at 10:00 am until time of an 11:00 am Funeral Mass.
