Jean Rueckert Ibach

Jean Rueckert Ibach, 88, passed away peacefully in her Western Springs home on Jan. 2nd, 2018 after a long and dignified battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Mrs. Ibach was the oldest of four children, born in Cicero, on Sept. 26th, 1929, to Ellen and Joseph Rueckert of Riverside, Illinois.   She received her BA from Northwestern University and soon after, married her college sweetheart, Frank “Dan” Ibach, 67 years ago. In 1982, she became a Financial Advisor with Waddell & Reed, where she loved helping her clientele with their financial goals.  After 22 years, she retired and spent time with her husband traveling throughout the world. Mrs. Ibach is survived by her loving husband and caregiver, Frank “Dan” Ibach, and her daughters, Karen Ibach of Arlington Heights, IL, and Kim (Michael) Teeters of Mundelein, IL, plus her one grand-daughter, Nicole Teeters.  She was pre-deceased by her parents and her sister, Alice (Rueckert) Cerne, as well as 7 very beloved schnauzers.
