Jeremy Paul Coutré 37, of Oak Park. Beloved fiancé of Debbie Coligado. Loving son of Diane Clark-Coutré (David Clark) and Randy (Tracy) Coutré. Dear brother of Jacquelyn Coutré; loved nephew of Mike Farrell. Visitation 5-8 pm Friday, February 9, 2018 at Emmanuel Episcopal Church, 203 S. Kensington Ave., La Grange, where funeral services will be held at 11 am Saturday, February 10, 2018. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Mothers Against Drunk Driving (www.madd.org) would be appreciated. Jeremy was a devoted member and mentor in the recovery community and an expert craftsman. His boundless creativity was expressed through music and woodworking, as well as his enjoyment of cooking (and eating) great food. Burying a child is one of the most difficult things a person can face in life, we do so wish you were not going through this now. Jeremy was a teenager when we moved in across the street, I remember watching him and his buddy playing hacky sack on your front lawn. He seemed a good kid, and he grew into a good man. Please accept our condolences.

I was so sorry to hear about Jeremy. Although I had only spent a short time with him when he brought his grandmother (my aunt) down to the Schultz’s family reunion in Southern IL, he was kind and friendly to us. I can’t imagine what you are going through. My prayers are with you for comfort and strength during this time. You probably don’t remember me since I think we only met once or twice when you came down for the reunion. I have lived in CA for many years and only get back once a year for the reunion. Jeremy was a true inspiration in the recovery community and I personally watched him grow as a person and reach out to the suffering alcoholics and addicts throughout the area. We truly will miss Jeremy and the void left by his passing will be hard to fill yet we will carry on. I’m so sorry for your loss and I promise to continue to carry the message of Hope in his honor. Diane and family, Pat Sullivan and I are shocked and so sad to hear about Jeremy’s passing. We are in Colorado for the wedding of Dana Rzasa this weekend and aren’t able to attend the wake or funeral service. We pray for you and your family at this very difficult time.
Debbie and Family, I had the honor and absolute privilege to be on the front lines of recovery with Jeremy. Over the past several years Jeremy has been a guide and mentor to countless people that sought his help and direction of which he gave freely and abundantly. He was a Service Warrior that could be counted on at any time and often with little or no notice. I love this man and will miss him immensely. Heaven gained a superstar this week. My donation to Our Primary Purpose in his name is an honor. Rest in Peace, Jeremy. Your mission is complete. Well done.

I am a friend of those in OPP Westmont and I am saddened by the loss of such a genuine, good man. His work with young people will not be forgotten—-the people he selflessly led and supported will take up the torch from here and carry the message of strength and hope to others and through that… Jeremy’s legacy will live on. He had the heart of a servant and a triumphant spirit. His smile and his gentle eyes tell quite a story. Amen, Jeremy and thank you for a life well lived and for all that you did for those in need. Please continue to stand guard from your rightful place in the heavens.

Jeremy was a college floor mate. His humor, kindness, and gentleness made him always feel like the brother that we knew would always be there for anyone. My deepest sympathy.
I was Jeremy’s roommate at Northern Illinois Universty. He was such a kind, gentle, humble guy, and I’m so shocked to hear of his passing. My deepest condolences and sympathies to you, his friends and family. He was a brother to me at a time in my life when I most needed it. My prayers are with you.
When I was broke and struggling to find work after grad school, Jeremy commissioned me to do a painting that I titled in his name for his new apartment. He was always great at supporting me and my artwork. For that, his friendship throughout college at NIU, his support and his laughter (that I could always count on when I told jokes), I’ll miss him dearly. The fact that I’m unable to catch up with him and hear his great laugh one last time is heartbreaking and I feel terrible that he’s no longer with us.

Jeremy was a great floormate and friend. We shared some great times when he was making music in his room. He was always so positive and always brought great vibes with him. He will always be remembered.
