Eugene R. Teske, 86, of Darien. U. S. Coast Guard Korean War veteran. Beloved husband of Doris. Loving father of Susan (Melvin) Machemer and Donna (William) Kato. Devoted grandfather of Matthew (Andrea) and Joel (Heather) Machemer, Lauren (Christopher) Heinz, Michael and Bryan Kato. Dear great-grandfather of Noah, Ella and Henry Machemer, Morgyn VanSweringen and Emma Heinz. Fond brother of Evelyn (late Edward) Gross, LaVerne (late Walter) Braun and Paul Teske. Dear uncle of many. Gene was very active at church, and a great woodworker. Dear Teske Family, please accept my deepest sympathies, Gene was a wonderful man who I met through Church. I am deeply saddened by his loss but happy he is no longer suffering. Rest In Peace, and May God Bless you all with comfort and strength.
Condolences to Doris , Susan, and Donna. Although we weren’t around Gene much growing up, we always enjoyed seeing him at family events. He was an intelligent, kind and decent man.
