I’m so sorry for your loss, but 90 years is an amazing lifespan. And what an interesting life she had! She kept interesting magazines and journals out for her children to read, she clipped newspaper cartoons and sent them to them, she made a killer apple pie, and she was enormously kind and generous to me and my son. She was an excellent role model when I needed to know how to parent and how to parent more than one child! The world is a better place since she was in it.
Well I guess I’m going home
You and I
We’ve been away too long
I’ve climbed mountains
Crossed the ocean
Shared my laughing
And done my crying
I’ve known true love
And good friends
And the joy
Of children smiling
I’ve seen loneliness
And happiness
Now I guess that I’m finally going home
Yes it’s time and I’m finally going home
And it’s fine that I’m finally going home
