Herman Angelo Pastori, 91, of Indian Head Park.  Beloved husband of Betty.  Loving father of Deborah (Ronald) Kubicki, Barbara (Michael) Holloway and Kathleen Madsen (Brian Murray).  Devoted grandfather of Heidi Smith, Katie (Anthony) Avila, Michael (Lauren) Holloway, Christopher (Dana) Holloway and Lauren (Dan) Wahl.  Cherished great-grandfather of Madylin and Ryan Farago, Lily and Rory Smith and Nolan Holloway. Dear brother of the late Donald, the late Rocelle, and the late Gloria.  Fond brother-in-law of Joya Pastori, Carol Buege and Pat MacLeod.  Dear uncle of Jennifer, Casey, Connor, Christine, and many other nieces and nephews.  Visitation 4 to 8pm Sunday, August 4, 2019 at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 West 55th Street, Countryside.  Will lie in state from 9:30am until Funeral Service at 10:30am Monday, August 5, 2019 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 11500 German Church Road, Burr Ridge, Illinois 60527.  Interment Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to Trinity Lutheran Church (address above) appreciated.  Herman was former Chief of Police in Hodgkins and Willow Springs, and he was a former member of the Willow Springs Lions Club.  Funeral home phone 708/352-6500

    Al and I can’t express how much Herman meant to us. What beautiful memories we have made together through our friendship. He was an amazing friend, and we are so happy we got to see you and Herman last year.
    We will be morning his passing with you and your family and celebrating the life of a great friend.
    He will always be missed
    But never forgotten 💕
