Paul Huston Parnell, 93, of North Riverside, IL (former resident of Chicago, IL), died Friday, August 2, 2019.  A veteran of World War II, he served in the Aleutian Islands, Alaska as a Sergeant in the Military Police.

He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Charlene (nee Cole), his brother Willard of Edmonton, KY, his son Jeff and wife Pam, his grandson Steve and wife Irene and two great grandchildren, Valerie and Nathan, all of LaGrange, IL.  He was preceded in death by his brother Bobby and sister Milladean, both of Keltner KY.

A viewing will take place at Hallowell and James Thursday, August 8 from 4 – 7 PM, followed immediately by a Mason funeral and memorial service.  A private family burial will be Friday at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
